Job Task Analysis (JTA)

The Job Task Analysis (JTA) is a vital part of a systematically developed training program.  It is a valuable tool which assists in activities such as, training needs analysis, development of effective task-based training, and performance appraisal.  A properly conducted Job Task Analysis will help produce the company-specific reliability related task list required by the pending PER-005 Standard.

The SOS Intl team of expert learning designers has developed a 2-day, classroom-based JTA workshop that provides an interactive environment for participants to learn how to conduct a job task analysis with a focus on the system operations of an electric utility.  The workshop format is specifically designed to encourage participants to bring their own JTA materials to make the most of learning while also moving your their JTA forward at the same time.

The Job Task Analysis provides a strong foundation for the Systematic Approach to Training.  Participants who are not familiar with the SAT methodology are strongly encouraged to take the SAT Fundamentals course prior to attending the JTA course.  These classes are often given together for this reason, so check the classroom calendar today.
