The purpose for our Train the Trainer Curriculum is to help clients tasked with developing training programs, implementing training plans, and teaching students in classrooms and remotely along the continuum of updated policies and procedures training to structured regional drills using simulation technology.
Reliability Coordinators, Balancing Authorities, and Transmission Operators have a unique set of training challenges complying with NERC training standards, including pending requirements such as the use of a systematic approach, creation of task lists and developing training materials to that list, evaluation of the training program, and verifying capability to perform the tasks. Our Train the Trainer workshops can help you create training programs that will transition from the previous NERC training standards to the expected new standards.
A major component of any successful classroom training program is the instructor. Expertise in subject matter alone does not guarantee an effective presentation or class. To connect with students and provide useful training, instructors must possess a specific set of training competencies. SOS Intl has designed a number of classes and workshops that teach the most beneficial training and presentation methods and techniques to individuals tasked with the important responsibility of training others.
The Train the Trainer coursework covers many areas of learning design and instruction methodology, including:
|
|
• Presentation Tactics
• Systematic Approach to Training
• Creating Learning Objectives
